“Carolina” was abandoned at birth and lived at another children’s home until she was 5. She spent the first few years of her life primarily in the same room every day- all day. It was too difficult to carry her up and down the steep stairs of the children’s home where she lived because the facility did not have an elevator. She came to Casa Providencia at age 5 and now she is receiving physical therapy, occupational therapy, and early childhood development therapy. She is even going to start kindergarten this spring! Carolina is full of joy and has discovered a deep love for music and toys! She also loves going to hydrotherapy and blowing kisses!
