“Roberto” was abandoned at a very young age when his parents realized that he has special needs. He was in an orphanage that was unable to meet his daily necessities and he spent all day just laying in a crib. At age 5 he was unable to stand on his own. What was it like for him when he came to CP? Now, at Casa Providencia, he is receiving physical, occupational and sensory therapy, is standing and has taken his first steps. Roberto is engaging with loving caregivers while he waits for his forever family. He loves to play with balloons and is yet to pop one! We are hopeful that he will become strong enough to walk!
