56 days...

So we are 56 days into this water crisis.  Tired of me blogging about it?  Yeah, not so fun dealing with it... (more)

There have been reports of people re-bottling water bottles with non-potable water and glueing the labels back on.  This led to quite a panic about the bottled water that we were all hunting down and so happy when we found.  The authorities have narrowed it down to where if you buy in a reputable store (and not from a street vendor), you are safe to drink the bottled water.  Sad how people try to make a buck in the middle of a water crisis.

Things have been pretty interesting, but for the most part life is returning to "normal" in Panama.  The news has moved on to other stories.  Yet, we are still on a 4 hour water limitation per day.  Life revolves around those 4 hours.  The good news is that the water levels have returned to normal within the water ministry from what I hear, so I am not sure why we still don't have water.  None of it makes sense to me, but what do I know?  I am just a Mom trying to make sure my boy is bathed and drinking clean water, and clothes washed is a bonus.

We have heard rumors that water will return to normal (without restrictions) later this week.  Hoping, but not holding our breath...
